Graduate students Amy Richards and Connor Moyer along with advisor Prof. Neal Sullivan recently travelled to Lucerne, Switzerland to participate in the 2010 European Fuel Cell Forum, Europe’s largest conference regarding solid-oxide fuel cells. Ph.D. student Amy Richards (pictured) was runner up for best oral presentation for her work on gas transport and internal reforming chemistry in solid-oxide fuel cells. Five manuscripts were submitted by Prof. Sullivan’s research group, as noted below.

1. S. Babiniec, N.P. Sullivan, A. Richards, N. Faino, “Multi-phase tubular perovskite-based anodes for use in hydrocarbon-fueled solid-oxide fuel cells,” European Fuel Cell Forum, Lucerne, Switzerland, June 28 – July 2, 2010.

2. N.E. McGuire, N.P. Sullivan, H. Zhu, and R.J. Kee, “Catalytic reforming on hexaaluminate-based catalyst supports,” European Fuel Cell Forum, Lucerne, Switzerland, June 28 – July 2, 2010.
