The Colorado School of Mines has offered me the opportunity to study alternative/renewable energy systems in the state-of-the-art CFCC facility with some of the greatest minds in the field. As a research assistant, I have developed numerical simulations for developing SOFC power systems. I have also performed experimental research on the effects of sulfur poisoning/contamination on SOFC anode structures.

I have a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Ohio State University and will complete my M.S. in mechanical engineering at Mines in May 2008. My wife Joan and I enjoy all that Golden has to offer: the mountain setting, the access to the outdoors, and the proximity to Denver.
